X30 up dates

Firstley thank you for your support over the 2016 season, its been a fantastic year for the growth of X30 in the UK and is quckle being regarded as the class to race whilst also becoming the main stay for senior racing. the cadet has also proven to be be as popular as ever and keeps going from strength to strength.

2016 will see no changes for the X30 or Gazelle cadet engine in pricing and for the later the regulation and fiche will stay static. However, for the X30 we have a few changes, over past 2 year we have lisend to all you feed back with my goal to have an improved product for you to use. The main change has been to the ignition package, the new simplified system will now only feature a coil with integrated ECU, stator with up rated connections and simplistic loom with start and stop button on it. We have also developed a button to replace the key for the people that wish to stay with the original ignition system but like the added benefit of the push button start opposed to the key this option pulls directly into the current loom. Other changes come in the form of new piston marking for the size and make on top, both new and previous will still be supply as spare parts, new reed cage that features better casting and rubber coating. Please see attached fiche updates.

None of the above changes are mandatory and to help the customer wishing to change to the new ignition system we are offering a subsidised exchange program, all they have to do is bring us the complete old system in any working order including the engine number and pay the fee of £190+vat and we replace this with a completely new system, conversely for you second engine we are offering an exchange of  £170 + vat, both are restricted to one per engine.

Round 4 Date Change

Round 4 of the 2016 LGM series has changed to the 24th July.  Due to a clash of dates and an approach from Shenington Kart Racing Club, the West of Scotland Kart Club have worked with the LGM organisers in an effort to avoid the conflict. The best way forward is for WSKC to host an additional club race meeting on the 24th July and for the LGM series to move to this date. This avoids the date clash with the MSA E Plate National Championship scheduled to run at SKC on the 16/17thWSKC and LGM organisers regret this late change and apologise for any inconvenience caused.
